Chin Woo Kung Fu
Chin Woo Kung Fu is a traditional Chinese martial art that develops strength, fitness, coordination, confidence, and practical self-defence skills. Combining striking techniques, stances, footwork, partner exercises, and traditional forms, it offers a rewarding way to improve both physical and mental wellbeing while learning an art with a rich history.
Whether your goal is to improve your fitness, build confidence, learn self-defence, or simply take on a new challenge, Kung Fu provides a lifelong journey of learning and personal development.
A Traditional Martial Art
Kung Fu is far more than a collection of techniques. It is a complete martial art that encourages discipline, perseverance, respect, and continuous self-improvement. Training develops both the body and the mind, helping students become stronger, more coordinated, and more resilient.
At Wensum Kung Fu & Tai Chi, we teach traditional Chin Woo Kung Fu using modern coaching methods that make learning clear, enjoyable, and accessible. Our aim is to remove unnecessary complexity, helping students understand not only how techniques are performed, but the principles that make them effective.
A Positive Learning Environment
We believe people learn best when they feel supported, encouraged, and challenged at the right pace. Our classes are welcoming to complete beginners, while providing plenty of opportunities for more experienced students to continue developing their skills.
Every student progresses differently, and our structured coaching system allows individuals to build confidence and competence one step at a time.
